What to expect
Honest work, start to finish
We start with a site walk: rooftop access, existing curbs and disconnects, panel capacity, and how your space is actually used. Then you get a written proposal with equipment options, efficiency ratings, and a clear schedule.
On install day we coordinate the crane lift and curb adapter, set the new unit, tie in gas/electrical and controls, and pull the mechanical permit. Most single-unit RTU changeouts are handled in a day, scheduled after hours where downtime matters.
Before we hand it back, we commission the system, verify airflow and refrigerant charge, set the economizer and thermostat schedule, and give you as-built documentation for your files.

Do you replace rooftop units like-for-like?
Often, yes — a like-for-like RTU changeout with a matching curb is the fastest path. When we can right-size or upgrade efficiency without major curb work, we will show you the payback so you can decide.
Can you install after hours to avoid downtime?
Yes. We schedule crane lifts and cutovers after close or on weekends so your sales floor or offices stay open. We will map the shortest possible downtime window in the proposal.
